Q: Can I visit the horses with my family & friends?
A: Yes and we encourage you to do so! Sharing the experience is part of what makes owning racehorses so special. Please just contact the Syndicate Manager to organize a stable visit!
Q: What level of veterinary care will our horses receive?
A: Catherine has been working alongside Dr. Victoria Banks for nearly the entirety of her career. Together, they are committed to providing the highest possible quality of life for each racehorse.
The racehorses’ welfare is ALWAYS the primary driver in the decision making process.
Q: Will there be unexpected bills?
A: Our model is designed to not require any additional cashflow. However, in the case of an emergency situation without sufficient funds belonging to the partnership, a cash call may be issued to ensure the wellbeing of the racehorses.
Q: What retirement plans are in place for the racehorses?
A: Catherine has worked through many different avenues to re-home all horses in her care, throughout her career. Each horse will be evaluated for their natural skills and proficiencies, and be found a home in the discipline they will be best suited for.
A few examples of second careers: Brave Autumn Rose, is now a professional polo pony in Wellington, Florida. Holyfield is a showjumper in Ottawa, Ontario. Good Answer, is an outrider pony at Woodbine!
