In a very smart debut race, Atohi handled the paddock and the pressure with poise and professionalism. Facing foes with blue blood pedigree, he hit the front end with competition from #2. With quick fractions, the rest of the field started to make their moves heading into the home stretch. Ryan Munger didn’t need to lift his hands for Atohi to put the rest away with ease, finishing the race in 1:18.33.

Morrisseau's debut was a solid starting point to build off of. He was well composed in the paddock and has started learning the ropes of racing. He broke a little slowly and never quite settled into stride. Making a move heading into the stretch, he tired, ultimately finishing 5th in 1:05.37.
